So I complained to mum that I have to go to my great uncle's birthday. I told her he is old and won't even notice I'm not there assuming he even remembers who I am. She did the whole reverse psychology thing though and made me feel guilty. What time are you finishing up? Maybe I can come late.

Gah! Mothers are to good at the making people feel guilty! Honestly I have no idea, I didn't really organise it at all Alex has but I would say we will be going while the lights up. On the day just send me a text and I let you know how everything is going. How does that sound?
